Talismans

Talismans are items held in your off hand that give you an extra boost! In order to craft talismans, you will need plenty of materials and boss hearts, which are obtained by killing Bosses.

Quick Facts:

All crafting recipes can be found in the crafting guide (the little green book to the side of your crafting table), so if you're unsure about something, that's the best place to look!

As you craft talismans, you will find that it becomes exponentially harder to make the next level. this may seem like it's not worthwhile but because you can only equip one talisman at a time, every upgrade is important!

The Basics

Along with Boss Hearts you will also need Enchanted Ender Eyes. These two items are the basis for all talisman crafting.

With four Enchanted Ender Eyes and one Boss Heart you will be able to craft a Talisman Core I. The Talisman Core I is used to craft all level one talismans as well as Talisman Core upgrades.

Higher Level Components

Talisman Core II

Four Talisman Core I in a crafting table in this formation will yield a Talisman Core II which is used for crafting tier 2 talismans and talisman core upgrades.

Talisman Core III

Four Talisman Core II in a crafting table in this formation will yield a Talisman Core III which is used for crafting tier 3 talismans.

Example

Using the information provided above this will be an example of the crafting chain required to make a Strength Talisman III

First, you will need to create your Enchanted Ender Eyes

Secondly, you will need to create a Talisman Core I with the Enchanted Ender Eye and a Boss Heart.

Then, with your Talisman Core I and the other required crafting materials you will be able to craft you level one talisman, in this example we're crafting a strength talisman.

Then, to craft the second level of our strength talisman you will need eight of the level one talismans along with a Talisman Core II.

Finally, craft the third and final level of our strength talisman you will need eight of the level two talismans along with a Talisman Core III

Archery Talisman I - Deal 10% more damage with bows

Attack Speed Talisman I - Attack 5% faster
