General rules apply universally to all gamemodes, but some have specific rules as well.

- Conduct
- A. Be civil to others.
- No harassment, hateful behavior or speech, or toxic behavior
- Treat others as you want to be treated
- B. Keep conduct responsible.
- No spam or advertising
- No sexually explicit behavior
- No extensive discussion of illicit substances
- Use appropriate channels for in game advertising
- C. Keep global chat in English.
- Fair Play
- A. No cheating or exploits.
- No hacked clients or unfair mods
- No macros, duping, or exploiting
- B. No scamming
- C. PVP must be consensual
- General Gameplay
- A. Accounts/Alternate accounts
- One alt is allowed per player
- The only permitted use for alts is to load chunks
- All actions done on your account are your responsibility
- B. Do not intentionally cause lag
- Avoid lag machines or excessive farms
- C. Respect shared areas
- No lava casts, random pits, permanent terrain damage or similar
- D. No griefing, even unclaimed areas
- Unprotected containers are free to be looted
- Unused builds are free to be claimed
- Community
- A. Staff use judgment when enforcing rules
- You may appeal your punishment via a ticket in the Discord
- No “rule lawyering” or attempting to exploit loopholes in rules
- B. Misconduct on other platforms may result in punishment.
- Worlds
- A. Collect resources in resource worlds
- Do not strip mine or excessively harvest resources in Towny worlds
- B. Map art world should be used only for creating map art
- Towns
- A. Towns may set their own rules in addition to server rules
- Town rules must be disclosed to residents
- Town staff may kick members for violating their rules
- Kicked residents must be given at least seven days to move their belongings
- B. Town claims must connect to an outpost or the main town
- Alts
- A. Alternate accounts can additionally be used for:
- Loading chunks
- Voting
- Vote parties
- Key-alls
- Piñatas
