Getting Started

Welcome to SMP! This is a vanilla-faithful gamemode with minimal quality of life improvements.

How do I start?
After reading the quick tutorial and reviewing our rules, run outside and travel the world normally! Once you find a suitable spot, place down your bell and follow the in-game chat instructions to claim the immediate area and start developing your base! There is no teleporting - /tpa, /home, /spawn and the like is fully disabled. On top of that, the game is in hard mode! Don't worry though, instead of dropping everything on death, your tools and armor take durability damage and you drop a random percentage of materials in your inventory. Some other good tips to navigate the server are:
- You can download the simple voice chat mod to communicate in-game!
- The locator bar above your hotbar shows players within 500 blocks
- You are marked as AFK after 35 minutes of inactivity
- Mob griefing and fire spread are disabled, but block explosions are not.
- Enable PvP by typing /pvp. Both players need to have this enabled to fight!
- You can make trains by clicking multiple minecarts with an iron chain. A furnace minecart must be at the front. You can use shears to unlink the carts.

Server Commands
SMP has very limited commands - but some are necessary! Below is a comprehensive list:
 - /g, /lc, /pc, /tr to switch different channel chat types!
- /party to create and manage an in-game party with your friends
- /msg, /r, and /togglemsg to privately contact players
- /ignore and /unignore to block out the haters or forgive ignored players
- /towny, /lobby, and /creative to check out our other gamemodes!
- /seen [player] to check when someone was last active.
- /claims tutorial gives you a recap on how our claiming system works.
- /map to pull up a link to get to the website map!
- /pvp to toggle pvp!
- /discord to join our large, active and friendly community!
- /prismsshop to support our server!
